The beautiful mountain panorama and the warm hospitality of indigenous Ghale people would definitely make Ghalegaun village homestay tour one of its kind. Nepal has many tribal and ethnic communities, with their own dialects and own set of social rules and Ghale people are one of them. Furthermore, these people have settled in the alpine valleys, mostly in the Gandaki region and close to the Annapurna mountains.

Ghalegaun is also the home of brave gurkha soldier and every male child in a family is born with the wish to continue the legacy of joining the Gurkha battalion in the British army. Rest of the village population still relies in traditional farming, raising cattle and making clothes out of nettle fiber. Alike the daily chores of the locals, the festivals, lifestyle, wardrobe and cuisine is as well very unique.

In fact Ghalegaun is a perfect village to witness culture, tradition and life of Gurung people. Since the locals are involved in raising cattles and farming, every product available is ready to eat and very hygienic. The village is as well blessed with mountain panorama and that makes village tour of Ghalegaun a very beautiful experience.
