Helambu Circuit Trek is considered as one of the most easiest treks in Nepal. This trek is more of a cultural trek which meanders from one village to another and is not for you if you are here for the mountains. However, this trek is very accessible and you can hit the trails as quickly as within an hours and trek for around a week.
From day 1, the trek takes you through beautiful scenery. When we say ‘scenery’, we mean you will see ocean of green terraced fields, scattered settlements, countless chortens, prayer flags, mani wheels and mani walls and beautiful culture. Moreover, the people are very hospitable and non commercial unlike the counterparts of Annapurna and the Everest. The trail as well is not frequented by trekkers and hence, Helambu preserves much of its natural ambiance.
Helambu circuit trek falls in the mid hills of Nepal and as a result, it rarely exceeds the elevation where trekkers would get altitude sickness. This region as well lies in between Langtang region and Sindhupalchowk district, the regions where earthquake aftermath was the heaviest. In Helambu as well you will see fallen houses and lives and the stories of it are told by every teahouse you accommodate in.
This is an easy trek
You trekking in the region would help people of Helambu stand back in their feet
No altitude sickness as the trek does not surpass 3500 meters
It is more of a cultural trek
5 % of your investment goes to charity work. We will contribute the funds for constructing library and computer literate rural children.
