Why Khopra Ridge Trek?

  • 5 % of your investment goes to charity work. We will contribute the funds for constructing library and computer literaring rural children.

  • Its a brand new trek and this trail does not see the influx.

  • Its not the most difficult of the treks

  • The mountain view is close and clear without having to travel very high in the mountains

This is a newly opened trekking destination and a short trek, which is gaining popularity in no time. Falling immediately south of the Great Himalayan trail Khopra Ridge trek falls in the subtropical region and experiences 4 seasons. Alike the other trails in the Annapurna region, this trek as well is entirely inhabited and by very fun loving communities who are yet to be influenced by business traits.

Khopra Ridge trek is usually loved by trekkers who do not wish to go with the flow. However, this trek has its own charm even if it combined with other famed routes like Ghorepani Poon hill or Annapurna Sanctuary. This detour from the regular crowd offer spectacular and closer views of Annapurna south and the fang peak. Until now, only handful of adventurous trekkers of ours has embarked on this trail and has camped their way throughout but due to recently open teahouses this trek has been attracting a lot of trekkers.

Most of the trekking is through lush green hills and beautiful forest of Rhododendron, Pine and other wild habitat. If spotted, the monkeys playing in their clan in its natural state is captivating. Watching the sunrise and sunset from behind the mountains of Annapurna, from a grassy knoll will definitely help you forget all your sorrows. What is more interesting than any other in Khopra Ridge trek is accommodating in community run teahouses, which further contributes portion of its profit for school and uplifting the community. The mountain scenery offered by Khopra Ridge, the contentment you have after taking the adventure, and knowing that you have contributed to the community is priceless.
